Ducting Systems

A complete range of ducting, bends, tees, flanges, reducers, dampers and other accessories fabricated in 100% corrosion resistant fibreglass. A choice of resin systems, design and construction versatility aids construction of complex ducting networks to reliably and economically handle corrosive gases.

Fibreglass ducting is corrosion resistant on both the inside and outside, so no further painting or corrosion protection is needed on the outside.

A coloured external layer is generally incorporated into the final layer of fibreglass. This protects the fibreglass from sunlight. The colours used are generally "pastel" colours, with "Moonstone" being our most popular colour.

Ducting design requires analysis of pressure drops through the network, and ARMATEC can do these for you.

Dampers are incorporated into most branch lines to assist with control of air flow. Dampers can be manually adjusted, or actuated by the plant's control room.

Fibreglass ducting is light in weight, so is easily handled and lifted into place at site. Ducting supports can be light in weight, and often no changes are needed to the building to support an extensive ducting network. Information on ducting supports is available.
