Over 25 Years of Experience
ARMATEC are leaders in New Zealand with more than 30 years experience in industrial and municipal projects. ARMATEC began as Ceilcote (NZ) Ltd in 1981 and changed its name to Armatec Environmental Ltd in 1998. ARMATEC is a New Zealand leader in the supply of industrial fibreglass products and has earned a reputation for high quality products for tough environmental and corrosion resistant applications. Key products are made from the contact moulded method for maximum chemical resistance.
Chemical Engineers
Our 3 Company Directors, project manager, and design and sales engineer are all experienced chemical engineers, working daily with projects involving chemicals, air pollution control, corrosion control and water treatment.
Long Serving Tradesmen
The ARMATEC team of tradesmen have many years of experience with all products and have worked at sites all over New Zealand. The top 4 tradesmen have over 50 years experience between them.
Purpose Built Factory
The fibreglass products are designed and fabricated in a purpose built 1500 square metre fibreglass factory in New Plymouth, Taranaki, the leading engineering centre in New Zealand. The factory features a 10 metre high tower bay for assembly of tall vessels and scrubbers. The factory is equipped with heating for year round manufacture.
Quality Management System ISO 9001
All products are designed and manufactured to the requirements of quality management system AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008. Bureau Veritas is the certifying body. Independent validation of products is carried out on an as required basis. Our quality assurance logging both in the factory and at sites provides the backbone of our system, and has stood the scrutiny of many of our customers.
