A choice of resin systems, design and construction versatility aids construction of high quality fibreglass pipe and fittings that will reliably and economically handle liquids containing corrosive chemicals.

In wastewater applications, fibreglass pipe is designed for a 50 year life, and will have an indefinite life.

Fibreglass pipe is ideal in chemical plants and corrosive environments as it is corrosion resistant both inside and outside. The pipe needs no further painting or protection on the outside.

Fibreglass pipe is light in weight, so is easy to lift runs of pipe into place.

Jointing is done by the traditional "butt and sterap" method. This provides a totally secure joint that is stronger then the pipe itself. Rubber ring joints are available if required, but are not often specified as the rubber ring can deteriorate and is not as leak proof as a butt and strap joint.

If required, a colour coat can be applied to the outside of the pipe. This provides protection from sunlight, and enables colour coding of lines to be done.
