Armatec is proud to have presented our gas scrubbing and pilot plant options and provided supporting sponsorship for The Biogas Bridge this month.
The Biogas Bridge forum, held on 17-18 July 2025 at Te Papa in Wellington, was a transformative event co-hosted by the Bioenergy Association and GasNZ. The forum aimed to unlock the potential of anaerobic digestion (AD) and waste-to-biogas production in New Zealand. It brought together key stakeholders from the waste, agricultural, industrial, and energy sectors to drive more sustainable waste management, strengthen energy resilience, support low-carbon exports, and contribute to emissions reduction targets. Including a Industry group meeting with special international leader from The World BioGas Association, Charlotte Morton (CEO).
The Biogas Bridge event held at Te Papa, Wellington.
Designed to inform, inspire, and encourage cross-sector collaboration, leading to actionable outcomes, the forum featured five panel discussions and more than a dozen presentations. The event featured discussions on the benefits and potential of AD, challenges and barriers, and the coordinated actions required across industry, government, and communities to realize the full potential of biogas. The forum also highlighted the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing to achieve these goals. The Biogas Bridge is an initiative that aims to transform waste management in New Zealand into a national opportunity. This event is part of Armatec's collaboration with the BioEnergy Association of NZ (BANZ). Thank you to Gas NZ and BANZ for organising this event.
